I decided to shop around for some baby items since my now 10-month old is starting to really get around. I was definitely surprised to find a baby gate for under $15 -- this is something I REALLY do need. It's the Safety 1st 23" Wood Security Gate, it expands from 28" - 41" and is 23" high. I love how its pressure-mountable and easy to use too. Within 5 minutes I had it installed without even reading the directions. I for sure would recommend buying a couple for around the house. They're definitely affordable and easy as 1, 2, 3! These wooden gates can even be used for pets also.

I also received the Babyganics Germinator Alcohol Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer that'll run you under $4 for a 50ml bottle. This small bottle is perfect for throwing in a diaper bag or purse. What both my 1st grader and I LOVE about this hand sanitizer is that its free of any alchohol smell and it kills 99.9% of germs! My daughter is more persistant about keeping her hands clean, washing, and then using hand sanitizer. It's perfect for her because she usually complains about the alcohol hand sanitizers stinging and burning her hands. With Babyganics Foaming Hand Sanitizer there is no stinging or strong smell!

Zevia "All NATURAL Zero Calorie Soda" Review

I always try my best to keep my home filled with healthy foods and drinks for both my children and myself. This past year, soda has been one thing that I've really had to cut back on due to all that caffine and sugary sweetness. Thanks to Zevia I can reward my first grader (and MYSELF, lol) with a 100% natural soda every now and then. Both my daughter and I couldn't wait to try out each of the flavors that I received -- Dr. Zevia, Cola, Ginger Ale, Orange, Lemon Lime Twist and Ginger Root Beer. Zevia Sodas are definitely the first of its kind... ALL NATURAL! Yes, I know its hard to believe there is an all natural soda in existence, but its awesomely true. This zero-calorie diet soda is naturally sweetened with Stevia, an herb from the sunflower family.

Each and every flavor tasted better then I had expected and I was surprised at my daughters reactions too. She was more then happy to be a taste-tester and even mentioned her favorites as being Orange and Ginger Root Beer. My top choices are Ginger Ale, Lemon Lime Twist, Dr. Zevia and Cola. The flavors are quite yummy and sweet -- I love the amount of sweetness! My daughter didn't think twice when drinking these zero-calorie sodas. They truly taste just as good as other sodas but have the added benefit of being healthy for us all. Zevia Diet Sodas will definitely be a new addition to my pantry!

With this heatwave in Northern California its no where near time to put the bubbles and toys away... No more sticky hands or wasted bubble solution. This little bucket literally provided hours of fun for my 6-year old, her 4-year old friend and I even joined in too. You won't believe just how much bubble solution is actually saved. It's a drastic difference when the bubbles don't end up in a puddle on the ground, lol.

5-Easy Tricks To Keep Your Kids Smile Healthy!

Did you know that teeth decay is a big problem with when it comes to childrens teeth these days? It's so important for us as mothers to encourage a healthy smile. Bad teeth, cavities and decay can really hurt a childs self-esteem... So here are five simple things you can do for your child to help keep their smiles healthy and bright!

1. Multiple Toothbrushes: I try to buy fun and unique toothbrushes for my daughter -- it makes brushing actually fun! One plays music, another is electric, and another is a fun bright multi-colored toothbrush. It's fun for her to be able to select which to use each time she brushes.
2. Bubble Gum Tooth Paste: This classic toothpaste flavor for kids is perfect for encouraging more brushing. No more hot minty flavors... just yummy smelling bubble gum toothpaste.
3. Checklist Chart: Create a chart where your child can check off each time of the day they brushed their teeth. Full chart = rewards!
4. Partner Up: Instead of your child thinking this is a lonesome, boring duty... brush your teeth with them! Children observe and mimic what you do so when your child sees you brushing they'll do the same for just as long too. Try it. =D
5. Sticker Rewards: If your child enjoys stickers -- a great way to encourage a healthy smile is to buy a sticker book for your child to add stickers to each time they are rewarded for brushing. Just wait and see how quickly your child wants to brush more often on their own too!

Something you may notice about Crayolas new green products is that the barrels of Markers are no longer white -- they're black! This minor change enables Crayola to use recycled plastic for these markers. The colors are just as bright and there's honestly no difference in the quality. The only difference is knowing that these products are being created in a greener way to help our environment. I for one love purchasing a product that I know helps a great cause. Crayola has really set a standard for big changes and I hope other companies we love follow in their foot-steps to go greener.

Having so many attachments on hand made it much easier for visitors who needed a charge to just charge up on the mat instead of pulling out a bunch of cords and searching for an outlet. And think about guests who are just visiting for a pit-stop and forgot their own charger – their more then likely to find an attachment that fits their phone or device out of the ones included and the day would be saved, lol…
